Hearts, Strings, and Other Breakable Things: Review

*This arc was given to me by the publisher to give an honest review*

Title: Hearts, Strings, and Other Breakable Things
Author: Jacqueline Firkins
Rating: 4.5 stars
Review: This is for fans of To All the Boys I've Loved Before. This was kind of like Cinderella meets To All the Boys I've Loved Before. I was super happy to get an arc of this book because somehow I knew that I was going to REALLY love it after reading the summary. I loved the writing style and the way the story was written. The main character (Edie) was going through a lot but overcame her fear of love. I loved the two guys in this book and didn't know if I should ship Edie with Henry or Edie with Sebastian. I couldn't stop reading this book and read it in 3 days. (I would have read it in one day if I had the time.) There were so many good scenes that were detailed and perfect for the readers to imagine it in their minds. This could turn out to be a good movie because of how well the story is written and how much it flows. You could tell that the author was really into the book because there was so much detail that some authors forget. This book was an easy read and perfect for readers in a book slump. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I thought the ending was a little rushed. Other than that I totally recommend this book!
