Review:
An old warrior is now being called The Destroyer from her past mistake. Can she find her home and also save it? If you love The Hunchback of Notre Dame with the vibes of ACOTAR and Shadow & Bones then you might like this book.

I really enjoyed this book but had mixed emotions about it. And you will know by. First of all, I have been hooked in this book for 3 days straight. I couldn't keep my mind off of it. The main character, Enebish, has been living under a rock not knowing what is going on outside of her small world. She was named one of the greatest warriors but is now called a murderer from a mistake of killing hundreds of people and because of that, she is scared of what people will think. The main character has doubting issues in the book and doesn't know who to trust because she never really had a home also a true family. But she develops a lot throughout the book and finds "friends" along the way. I was really shipping her and one of the other guys but it turns out he was evil which made me sad. Then her sister betrayed her which I kind of expected it to happen. I didn't feel much connected with the characters but I love the way the author wrote each one of them differently and unique.

The places and names were really special and unique. They have never been used in a different book or other places (I think) and also I might have butchered a lot of the pronunciations as I did with ACOTAR. It was interesting how there were some people who had powers like controlling the night, fire, ice, etc. But it was also difficult for them to control which makes me feel like that all the people with special magic are being used like pawns even the bad guys. The names and powers were one of the great parts of this book.

This was also a unique and different story that I never read before. The story plot was great and so was the plot structure. I really loved it and I don't know how the author wrote everything so well with dropping a lot of conflicts also huge 'omg' bombs at the end of the book. Addie wrote everything really well and I loved the writing style of this book. I can wait for the second book and I think I have a book hangover now.
