The Seventh Sun: Author's Playlist

Lani: For some reason, Rachel Platten’s songs are really inspiring to me while I write. I loved her song Grace, especially because it reminded me of Mayana when she sings “There's nobody else I have to be / There's no one else I need to please / I have the answers that I need.” Her song “Stand by You” really inspired me while I was writing book two, which will make a lot more sense when you finish book one! Hehe!
