Ismee: I actually made a Spotify playlist for THIS TRAIN IS BEING HELD. Some of the songs, like Cupla al Corazón, by Prince Royce, I wrote into the story. Others, like Head Above Water, by Avril Lavigne, spoke to me as they conveyed the emotions of the characters so clearly. I would listen to them on repeat while writing certain scenes. Other songs include Lover by Taylor Swift, Fantasía by Ozuna, Empty Space by James Author, Meet me on the Eastside by Benny Blanco, Luckily, I never got bored of them!
