Sunday Showtime: Divergent

     Who loves action and dystopian movies? Who is a fan of Divergent by Veronica Roth? Well, this movie is right for you. Though the books are always better than the movies, let me tell you that you will also like the Divergent movie. There are some scenes that aren't in the movie of course but Shailene Woodley and Theo James play an amazing role in their parts. Not going to lie but I have a crush on Theo James and watched the movie 5 times but not only because of him. There are many important scenes that come to life in the movie that you will really want to see like the kiss or the tests. You can watch this on the TNT app for free or purchase it on iTunes, Amazon Prime and Vudu. 

If I rated this movie, I will give it 4 stars. I mean I did watch it 5 times probably more times than I can count. I did wish it could be like the book but they have to make the movie in 2 hours. I also think that the actors are perfect for their roles because I can't think of anyone else who can play them. 

Here are some important tips to parents if they want their kids to watch it:
- PG-13
- major violence
- there are some positive messages (message is that it's okay about who you are and finding yourself)
- one kiss scene
- some foul language

About the movie: Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley) lives in a futuristic world in which society is divided into five factions. As each person enters adulthood, he or she must choose a faction and commit to it for life. Tris chooses Dauntless -- those who pursue bravery above all else. However, her initiation leads to the discovery that she is a Divergent and will never be able to fit into just one faction. Warned that she must conceal her status, Tris uncovers a looming war which threatens everyone she loves.
