Again Again: Review

Rating: 3/5 stars
Review:
This book was overall not bad but also not my favorite. This book is not a romance novel which I kind of thought it would be but more of self-love and family love. The main character in this book is Adelaide who struggles with her life and wants to find a boyfriend. The author wrote this story using different methods that I have never seen before. She writes the story and then there are 3-5 possible ways to what could happen in the next scene. Its kind of like the author is trying to get out her ideas of what she should do next like should the character kiss, chicken out etc. It's kind of like getting in the author's head of seeing different possibilities of what would Adelaide do next. The first half of the book was a different timeline than the next half which was a little confusing. The first half was similar to the next half but Adelaide's story is kind of different. I didn't enjoy the different timelines but I did enjoy the "what will happen next" method.

I didn't really connect as much with the characters but I did like how Adelaide developed throughout the story. I loved how she reconnected with her brother, who was an addict and tried to get their relationship back to normal. The story between the brother and sister got me really hooked to the story because this book was more about Adelaide connecting back with her family. I also did like the parts where she walked the dogs at the beginning of the story and seeing Adelaide meet a new guy.

This story wasn't that bad but I think readers who love multiverse storylines will enjoy this book. I'm more of a YA romance and fantasy lover which is why it didn't fit for me but I'm not upset with this book.
