I Killed Zoe Spanos: Review

Rating: 5/5 stars
Review: This book was WOW! It's kind of like The Lying Games mixed with Sadie that also has podcast recordings. Anna moves and becomes a nanny but she didn't know a girl named Zoe is missing and that she looked just like her. I'm a huge sucker for mystery novels and this one killed it as my favorite mystery novel of 2020. In this book, Anna looking similar to Zoe which made me think of The Lying Games. Kit Frick's writing style is also amazing and I love how she had two different POVs. One is the past Anna pov and the other is the now Anna pov which is good for this book to go back and forth so readers can guess who the killer is.

I enjoyed the characters in this book. I made a mental chart in my mind of who could have been the killer because, to be honest, it could have been anyone. I love the way the author wrote the characters too because most characters were mysterious and it was also like the author was misleading you which is amazing for a mystery book. My favorite character was Anna because I knew that there was a story behind her which there was at the end of the novel. I loved reading her story and seeing her then and now perspectives from the book.

The ending of this story was spectacular. I love the way it ended and the author made the last chapter as the killer's pov so we could see what they thought in their mind. I hope that Kit writes more mystery/thriller novels like this one. I do recommend this to all readers and I know that you will enjoy this!
