Blood Moon: Review

Blood Moon by Lucy Cuthew

Rating: 5/5 stars

Review: I LOVED this book. It was such an easy and unique read. It's about Frankie who has sex for the first time and starts her period but then a meme starts because of it which Frankie doesn't know who made it. Frankie is having a hard time trusting someone and thinks her life is over. This book is written in verses but it was like a short novel. I loved how the author made the story flow and complete since it was a short read. The writing was wonderful of course and the plot was well structured.

The main character, Frankie, is a strong and brave character. Imagine having a meme start in school about you about your period. I mean you would probably want to think that you life was over but no Frankie didn't stay home but went to school even when she was breaking. She also lost her best friend before all this started so it was also tough because of that. The supporting characters were also well written. Some helped Frankie find who made the meme and protect her while there were some haters. Frankie developed a lot in the novel and in a proper way.

This book was an enjoyable read. I think it's perfect for high school kids to read to learn.I had no problem with this book and everything was just perfect. I totally recommend this read because it is something to learn from.
