Far From Normal: Review

Far From Normal by Becky Wallace

Rating: 5/5 stars

Review: I really LOVED this book! This was a perfect summer read. It's about Maddie who has an internship at a sports marketing firm that bumps into a soccer boy who has a bad reputation, Gabe. She is assigned to help him but doesn't know if she should do her job or fall in love with him. Did I get you? I hope I did. The author promised a good story after I read the summary of this book and I wasn't let down. Becky, the author, has wonderful writing and hooked you into Maddie and Gabe's story on one page that makes you want to read it in one sitting. She did a wonderful job bringing the storyline together and the pacing was perfect.

I enjoyed the characters a lot both the main and supporting characters. Both Maddie and Gabe developed throughout the story knowing they have to take risks in life even at a young age. I felt connected with Becky's characters because they were wonderfully developed and she made me want to read more into these characters. I also enjoyed Maddie and Gabe's romance which made swoon over them. Thanks, Becky for giving me ANOTHER book boyfriend. (pst.. you will FALL IN LOVE with Gabe. I promise.)

The whole novel was just great and such an amazing, short read. It's perfect for reading in the summer especially at a beach. Everything was perfect with this book and I had no trouble with it. This is perfect for readers who enjoy a cute, romance novel, need to get out of a slump, or need a good beach read.
