Crave: Review

Rating: 5/5 stars
Review:

Twilight meets After with a touch of Shadow Falls
I have really enjoyed this book and pretty much fell in love with it. It's about a girl, Grace, who has to move to Alaska and go to boarding school. It's not a regular boarding school but a supernatural one. Grace meets a sexy vampire named Jaxon who protects her from someone that is trying to kill her. The plot was well structured and I loved the titles of the summary. The titles were different from books you read which I liked because it's not something you see. It's not a whole lot similar to Twilight in my opinion but the romance was just like from After. It wasn't toxic but it was an off and ongoing relationship also with that one character who thinks they shouldn't be together so they push the other out of the way.

The characters were my favorite part of this book. The author did so well by introducing so many characters and explaining who they are. It wasn't overwhelming and confusing at all. There was a uniqueness for each character and most developed throughout the story. My favorite characters were Macy and Jaxon. They helped Grace a lot in the book and protected her. Jaxon also changed a lot throughout the book and the author did well explaining the readers his story. Grace, the main character, was a little annoying but not really but the author wrote her well so I didn't hate her a lot. She was just naive and it was annoying to see how she didn't know she was in the supernatural world. The romance in this book was perfect. I love Grace and Jaxon's relationship because it was nice seeing how strong they were when they were together.

I didn't have any problem with this book what so ever but... WARNING SPOILER IS AHEAD SO DON'T READ
(Grace finds that she goes to supernatural boarding school around page 300)

WARNING IS OVER

The ending did leave on a cliffhanger and the author said that it's a trilogy that I'm so happy about. I don't think I'm going to have enough of these characters in three books but I'm happy there is something. This book left me with a book hangover so that means it's REALLY good. I recommend you read this if you are a paranormal romance and fantasy (vampire) lover.

Crave: Welcome Post

Crave by Tracy Wolff
Publisher: Entangled Teen
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Age: 14+

Summary:
My whole world changed when I stepped inside the academy. Nothing is right about this place or the other students in it. Here I am, a mere mortal among gods…or monsters. I still can’t decide which of these warring factions I belong to, if I belong at all. I only know the one thing that unites them is their hatred of me.

Then there’s Jaxon Vega. A vampire with deadly secrets who hasn’t felt anything for a hundred years. But there’s something about him that calls to me, something broken in him that somehow fits with what’s broken in me.

Which could spell death for us all.

Because Jaxon walled himself off for a reason. And now someone wants to wake a sleeping monster, and I’m wondering if I was brought here intentionally—as the bait. (Goodreads)
