The Electric Heir: Review

Rating: 4/5 stars
Review:
*This book was given to me by the publisher to give an honest review in return*

This book was so much better than book 1! I felt more attached to the characters and getting POVs from both the main characters were amazing. I love how the author wrote Noam and Dara's relationship because they connected and knew what each of them was going through. The plot structure was well written and I love the world-building in this book more than the first. The settings would be described very detailedly and you could imagine it clearly in the head. The author also added some notes about Calix like doctor reports and interviews.

Dara is my favorite character because I love his sarcasm which reminds me of Jace from The Mortal Instruments. In this book, he develops a lot more and is more caring than before. He develops some friendships which is amazing because it's kind of like Damon and Bonnie from The Vampire Diaries which was so cute. My favorite scene from this book is the last interview and you will know why when you read this book.

This book does talk about rape and readers need to understand it before they read this book. This book is intense I recommend more older kids read it. This book is recommended to YA Sci-Fi readers who love LGTB+ books!
(This book mentions rape, Jewish mcs, eating disorder, LGTB+, and abuse)
