Mad, Bad & Dangerous to Know: Review

Rating: 1/5 stars
Review:
This book takes place in France and the main character, Khayyam, is American Indian, French, Muslim, and American.

(I recommend not reading my review if you plan on REALLY reading this book)

DNF at page 135! This book was not for me. The summary of the book sounded so good and I was really excited to read it but it's not what I expected. I didn't connect to any of the characters at all or the storyline. I feel like I didn't know much about the characters and that they didn't have many emotions or information that the reader could feel connected to. Not in a mean way but it was like the characters were bricks. In my opinion, the plot structure was not well written. It felt flat when it's not supposed to be and there was no antagonist in the book so far. There is a love triangle in this book and that wasn't going well either. The main character, Khayyam, is naive and pretty much wants to be with both guys and she knows that one of them doesn't treat her fairly because he's playing with her mind. The mystery in the story was also flat and didn't bring much interest to me than I thought it would. I was lost on what was happening because the book was so rushed and most of the time Kayyam was thinking of kissing the French guy. I wanted to finish this book to see if it would get better but I felt like I was forcing myself to do it when I know I wasn't going to like the ending at all. Which is why I DNF (Did Not Finish) the book. This book is not recommended. sorry.

*This book was given to me to give an honest review in return*
