Review:
This book was interesting and nothing I have read before. This is the first book that I have read with "zombies" in it. Also with the main characters working at an escape room. This book was well written and I loved how the story flowed. As you can see on Goodreads, it says (Perfect Escape, #1) which makes me think there will be a second book or it's those series with different main characters. I hope there isn't a second book with the same characters because, in my opinion, I liked how the story ended. I don't think there needs to be a second book with the same main characters.
I love how there is an American-Korean male/white female love story. Most writers don't do mix race love stories which I hate. I do think there are more different race love stories but just not enough. This was also a slow burn love story with a love triangle in it. The love triangle is kind of faint because it's obvious that the main characters, Nate and Kate, will end up together.
It was nice seeing how each character solved their issues and problems in the book but the main issue was their names. It was a little hard for me to focus because of it. But it was nice to see how Nate and Kate solved their problems. Nate and his family had financial problems while Kate had an overprotecting dad. The reason I gave this book 3.5 stars was because the book wasn't a rom-com. It wasn't that funny when it was supposed to be. It was also kind of basic like the romance was more love at first sight which I hate. I had mixed feelings about this book because I liked it and also didn't like it.
*This book was given to me by the publisher to give an honest review in return*
