Review: Grace and Fury meets a touch of Julius Ceaser
WOW!!! This book was just amazing. I really really enjoyed this book. There are no words to express how much I enjoyed this book. I was hooked from page 1 and loved everything about it. The world-building was amazing, the characters were amazing, the romance was too wonderful and everything else. The author did a wonderful job with writing a Greek, fantasy book with its own mythology. The author has a page for the nine divines (Gods) and giving information about it.
This book is about two sisters who are separated from each other. One is a hoplite and one is a scribe and both are trying to save their world. The characters were one of the best parts of this book. Halcyon and Evadne are both amazing and unique characters and I love reading both of their POVs in this book. Going on different adventures with them was just wonderful and seeing the deep powerful sister bond in this book that was growing strong throughout the book.
The book had the best amount of romance into it which was a slow burn. I'm not going to spoil which sister got in a relationship but it was the perfect touch to this book. I was having a mental breakdown when the ending came and almost cried because it was coming to an end when I wanted to see more of the couple together. I'm a little disappointed that this is standalone but I'm happy that I got to read this book. I recommend this to Greek, fantasy lovers who love mythology. You won't regret reading this book!
